The short version

You're buying printable digital education for your own personal use — print it, mark it up, keep it forever, just don't resell or share it. Our materials teach owner-safe operation and maintenance; your machine's manual always wins on anything model-specific, and motor, wiring, and timing work belongs to a technician. If something's not right, our 14-day guarantee has you covered.

The agreement

By purchasing or using products from The Sewing Haven, you agree to these terms.

What you're buying

Our products are digital, downloadable educational materials (PDFs). Preorder products are delivered on or around the stated estimated launch date; we will notify you by email of any change to that date.

Your license

Your purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable license to download, print, and use the materials for your own use. You may not resell, redistribute, share, publish, or repackage the materials, in whole or in part. All content is the intellectual property of The Sewing Haven.

Educational content — the honest disclaimer

  • Our materials teach owner-level operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. They are educational content, not professional repair services.
  • Your machine's manual is always the final authority on oiling and anything model-specific. Where our materials and your manual differ, follow your manual.
  • Motor, wiring, and internal timing work is technician territory. Our materials do not teach it, and you should not attempt it.
  • You use the materials at your own risk. We are not responsible for damage to machines, materials, or projects resulting from the use or misuse of the information provided.

Payments and pricing

Prices are in U.S. dollars. Promotional pricing (such as preorder or one-time-offer pricing) is available only as stated on the offer page.

Refunds

See our Refund Policy. In short: contact us within 14 days and we'll make it right.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
